Description
Over 25+ years ago I attended a small auction near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania that was selling scores of original battlefield artifacts recovered by J.R. Brown in 1884. Brown was a park agent in charge of putting in several roads around the battlefield and, in the process, he picked up scores of relics from the road beds. There were only a few people at the auction so I managed to purchase over half of what was sold. I, in turn, sold the items off and then a few weeks ago one of the buyers offered to sell four lots back to me!
Each lot contains twenty five original battlefield bullets and no lot is exactly the same—and there are only four lots available. Each lot will come with a copy of the auction flyer and an image of a tag on a cigar box that held bullets and buttons. If you want REAL Gettysburg recovered bullets that were legally found over a hundred plus years ago, you again have a chance!
