Description

Believed to possibly have been made by Manhattan firearms, this very well made pistol holds 7 rounds of .22 rimfire ammunition.  Many of this type of revolver was the chosen “back up” weapon of the everyday Civil War soldier.  Inexpensive, reliable and basically waterproof they were small and easily concealed.  This example retains about 20% of the original silver wash on the frame and 90%+ original varnish on the grips.  Action is crisp and tight.  Very inexpensive Civil War era weapon that would have been used well into the early 20th century by soldiers, civilians, western travelers and gamblers!
