Description
Nice example of the US Military M1871 Army pistol with the name “C. Kutschan” stamped on it. He was born in 1850 in Germany and arrived in the US around 1893, residing in Harris County, Texas. The weapon has been refinished and is in very good to fine condition overall. It is chambered in .50 centerfire and is single shot. Approximately 6,000 were manufactured between 1872-1888. The frame retains martial inspector stamps.
