Description
This is a very attractive and solid example of the standard sword of the mounted cavalry and dragoons from 1840 through the end of the American Civil War. The grip is tight with all leather present and the blade is mostly bright with only tiny nicks and wear. Justice initially provided these swords to Pennsylvania troops but later to the regular US Army purchase agents.
