Description
Manufactured late in the War, this bayonet shows the shortage of metal in Japan—the sheath is wood and was originally bound with twine! The bayonet is functional but far more crude in appearance than early War production examples. The bayonet fits both the 6.5 and 7.7 mm rifles used by Imperial forces.
