This scarce belt plate is one of the finest known examples anywhere. It has resided in an old collection for MANY decades and, honestly, it was listed as dug but it doesn’t appear to be–perhaps it was an early battleground pickup, because it’s almost TOO nice to have been in the ground more than 50 years or so. Either way, this is a beautiful and scarce belt plate that belongs in any fine collection and one you’ll never regret adding!
