Description
This old war relic was found in a flea market in central Georgia a few weeks ago with no known history. No maker marks are visible, but there may be some once the blade is cleaned. The blade appears to have been nickle plated at a point in time, something often done when swords were displayed in veteran halls. The grip retains most of the original leather and full double twisted wire wrap. A great inexpensive ORIGINAL cavalry weapon at a bargain price!
