Description

Less than 1,900 Remington-Beals Army .44 percussion revolvers were manufactured from 1861-1862. The top barrel flat has the two-line 1858 patent date/address marking. Small letter inspection marks are stamped on most of the major components, and a larger sized letter “P” is stamped on the cylinder. The barrel is numbered to the gun.  These guns saw extensive military use and are not easy to find in decent condition today.
