Description
One of only about 400 produced, this weapon is classified as a secondary US martial. It has a 7.5″ barrel and is chambered in .38 rimfire. The left side of the frame is actually HAND CARVED wood–looks like the quality of a pattern maker–and this type of gun has been known to retail above $3,000 in recent years due to the rarity. It is numbered below the barrel 27. A very, vary rare weapon with attributed US Navy use during the Civil War.
