Description
Very nice canteen with the original stopper and chain and original cover–at some time the cover was removed and the canteen PAINTED with silver/chrome paint, likely to try to stop the rust. No real harm done, other than the thread used to sew it back on is modern. From a collection in Western Massachusetts.
