Description
Wow, if this old weapon could talk–this is a standard Civil War type Remington New Model Army converted to .44 centerfire, with ejector, circa 1870s. It is fully functional and in the brown as shown. This cowboy era handgun likely saw service in the Civil War as well before ending up in Arizona, where it was found in an old collection. It looks as if it may have been a pickup of some kind as the grips appear to have been exposed to weather for some time. Incredibly, it is NOT seized up and rotates and locks properly.
If you want to have what was REALLY used in the Old West, look no farther!
