Description
Really fine and probably unissued example of the Sheridan Cavalry Corps brass hat badge, once in the collection of J. Duncan Campbell, noted author and historian. This example is missing the loops on the reverse and a portion of the red 1st Division colored enamel from the field, but is otherwise near mint. Campbell’s numbering code is visible on the reverse.
