Description
This is a rare example of an American mid-19th century long rifle built as a LEFT HANDED firearm. It is approximately .30 caliber and has a 39.5″ barrel. It is a halfstock with a brass patchbox on the right hand side and features dual set triggers. This weapon came directly from an estate in eastern NC and is one of the few of the pattern known–and in absolute as found, unmolested condition. It is mission one patch box screw as shown.
