Description
Beautiful original condition officer grade eagle head with etched and frosted blade and gilt brass tooled scabbard. This sword has no maker mark, as most, but is clearly an example of the Philadelphia school of sword making. The original matching gilt brass scabbard is likewise near flawless. If you like eagle heads that likely saw service in the War of 1812 as well as the Mexican War, here ya go!
