Beautiful example of the standard bayonet for the M1855/61/63 Springfield Rifle Musket and contract variations. This fine piece has the “rough out” throg on the finished leather sheath, making it very early Civil War. The blade is near mirror bright overall. Simply put, a museum and investment grade set.
