Description
Overall this is an EXCELLENT example of one of the trio of Colt M1877 Double Action revolvers (LIGHTNING 38, THUNDERER 41, AND RAINMAKER 32) as widely used during the late western expansion era and carried by many law enforcement personnel. Durable, reliable and able to be fired via single or double action, this fine example retains 75%+ overall finish and has both a crisp bore and like new markings. There is very slight wear on the bottom of the grips, showing it was clearly carried and used. All numbers match and the mechanical action is like new. Antique arms are NOT warranted safe to fire and should be inspected by a gunsmith prior to doing so. Investment grade overall.
