Description
Estate fresh from Rochester, Michigan this M1816 was arsenal altered to percussion in the 1850s. It is overall very good plus and retains the original ramrod and sling swivels. This .69 smoothbore musket was the backbone of the early armies both North and South and this example still retains the original dual inspection cartouche marks in the wood. It is clean and fully functional and a fine addition to any Civil War weapons collection.
