Description
This one is FRESH as they get and has never been on the open collector market before. It is 100% original and complete in all respects and reflects a deep dark age patina overall. The bore is decent, the rear sight is original and the ramrod is the original, too. The vast majority of Barnett weapons were purchased in 1861-1862 by Caleb Huse for the Confederate cause. As with all legitimate examples, there is no āWDā or broad arrow marking (indicating use by British forces) anywhere. It is the standard .577 bore and the action is crisp and tight. As with all Barnett guns, the wood is grade āAā unlike the normal examples. If you want an untouched one with a 90%+ chance of been used by a Rebel, here ya go!
