Description
This fine old weapon just surfaced at an estate sale in northern Vermont and is fresh to the collector market. It appears to have been snubbed a little (during the period of use) perhaps for a mounted soldier or artillery use. Other than for a broken hammer screw, it is completely original and complete and as brown and untouched as you will ever find one. Next to the Brown Bess, the Charleville was the highest used European weapon by Continental forces. Bargain priced!
