Description
One of the less common souvenirs snagged by a US GI during WWII, this is a large serving pitcher (holds well over a gallon) with toleware painting that looks strongly like it was done in the Netherlands.
The base of the aluminum pitcher is stamped 1939 and with the Nazi German Luftwaffe eagle marking. Overall condition is excellent—basically almost as nice as when it came to the US in 1945.
