Description
A fine example of the standard sword issued to Union non commissioned officers—with clear maker and inspector marks. The blade is 75%+ bright and clean and the leather scabbard is in solid condition. It was manufactured under US Government contract by Christopher Roby of Chelmsford, Massachusetts in early 1863.
