Description
Nice example of a long barrel (6”) revolver with the famous Owl Head grips, the trademark of Iver Johnson, a bicycle maker who dabbled heavily in firearms as well. Complete but needs tuning—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
Established in 1871, the company was founded by former employees of Ethan Allen. The firm moved to Fitchburg in 1891. This revolver dates pre-1898 and requires no permits or licenses to purchase. The gun is patterned after the Smith and Wesson top break series.
NOTE: Antique weapons are NOT warranted safe to fire!
