Description

Honest example of the combat weapon of both the Mexican and Civil War era and famed for the “buck and ball” projectiles used. This smooth bore .69 caliber military issue musket saw heavy service by the North and South during the Civil War. Clear, crisp lockplate markings and all mechanical aspects function properly. Original ramrod. There is an old crack repair at the wrist as shown in the images. Very solid example of a field used infantry weapon that is complete and still would shoot today!
