Fine and very rare DUG example of the RARE wartime staff officer button with 50%+ original gilt; slight push in center; Superfine gilt backmark. This rare officer button was recovered in Petersburg, Virginia. The button was found on private property adjoining a known battlefield area with full permission of the owner.
