Description
Nice chocolate patina on this fine DUG example as manufactured in the Antebellum era by Scovill of Waterbury, Connecticut just prior to the Civil War and as found, with full original shank, on the Manassas battlefield. The button was found on private property adjoining a known battlefield area with full permission of the owner.
