Description
Fine brass mounted leather cartridge box for a Dragoon pistol with tin tubes still remaining. The “Cherokee Rose” motif on front was used from Texas to Florida from the 1790s through the early 1820s, which would be the era of this box. Belt loops on the reverse are long gone, but a TOUGH item to find!
