Description
This finely crafted Sterling Silver Water Pitcher (#182, “Puritan” pattern) was manufactured by Gorham in the early 1950s era. The Pitcher stands 8 3/4 inches tall and weighs over 20 troy ounces. There is no monogram or mono removal and the bottom is clearly hallmarked. It is in EXCELLENT crisp condition.
The current bullion melt value (with silver being $38.16) on this fine item is over $720!
While not from the Civil War, this pitcher was used regularly by a local Daughters of the Confederacy post on special occasions. Other than needing a good polish, it is in spectacular condition overall.
