Description
This is a strong original example of the heavily imported Austrian rifle with the desireable date of 1860 clearly struck in the lockplate. It is a .58 caliber and retains the original ramrod. The rear v-notch sight is long gone (they are only pinched in—more don’t have ‘em than do) and the hammer screw is broken off. It is as brown with honest age patina as they come, has no alterations and is a fresh estate find from central Florida.
