Description
Scarce Civil War “Buck and Ball” round as used in smoothbore muskets by both sides, Union and Confederate. This is one of a small grouping found in a camp outside Winchester, Virginia, many years ago. The buckshot has a bit of water based glue applied to help keep the round intact. You will receive one of the grouping shown, but not necessarily the one pictured–all are .69 Buck and Ball from the same hole! Some still have gunpowder residue on them.
