Description

Exceptional example of the most common imported infantry weapon of the Confederacy, the Pattern 1853 Tower rifled musket.  Chambered in .577, this weapon retains all original parts and exhibits a clear Confederate export stamp of Sinclair, Hamilton and Company in the buttstock verifying its Southern heritage and lineage.

This gun came from an estate sale in eastern Georgia several years ago without any related history other than it had been in the old home when a new family purchased it.  If you want a very solid and fully functional early Civil War Enfield, look no further!
