This is a fine original Southern Cross of Honor as awarded by the Dauthters of the Confederacy to W.W. Lipford, a Confederate Civil War veteran.  Lipford served in Company H, 24th SC Infantry for the duration of the entire War.  The top bar is engraved with his name.
