Description
Solid example of a Civil War era New York dress coatee with epaulettes, many buttons have fallen or been taken off and some replaced–but many extras included that were found in a pocket! The coat is an 1850-1860s era New York tunic that may also have been worn by the son of a veteran of the Civil War, as some of the replaced buttons are Sons of Veteran, New York, patterns. Great value for what it is.
