Description
Very nice example of the M1851 pattern buckle as designated for NCO’s from 1851 throughout the Civil War era. The applied silver wreath is in near excellent condition and the leather belt is supple, but has minor age crazing and flaking as shown. The keeper is numbered but the plate is not.
