Description
M1855 pattern with rough leather throg as used on all Model 1855, 1861 and 1863 Springfield and contract .58 caliber rifled muskets. Blade is deeply struck at the ricasso with “U.S.” and the scabbard tip is solidly attached. Overall very good to fine condition and a must for any collection.
