I haven’t seen one of these on the market in over fifteen years—this one just came out of a collection in South Carolina. The good part: it is a legitimate CS embossed cap box with lead closure finial. The bad—the back single belt loop is missing and has been gone for a very long time.
When complete, these little gems command well over $6,000 on the open market. Due to the missing piece (which you can’t see in most displays anyway) this one is priced at less than half the normal price.
