Very solid example of an early war pocket mirror with a pencil inscribed name inside as well as a regimental number—but I can’t make it out clearly enough to research it—perhaps a younger set of eyes can do better. These mirrors were often made by Shaker communities in western Massachusetts and sold by sutlers in the field.
