Description
This fine grouping of field web gear was found in an old trunk along with some assorted uniform items but nothing, unfortunately, was named. Overall condition is near excellent for everything and all contractor marks are clear and crisp. All pieces are dated from 1942-1944 as shown, even the canteen.
The ammo belt accommodates the .30-06 rounds used in both the M1 Garand and 03-A3 Rifle.
If you want a complete set for a typical American Army GI at Normandy, this is it. The set includes the shoulder support brace system (suspenders) which is a rarity. It would look fine on a mannequin!
