Description
Beautiful and elaborately adorned officer sword of the Pattern 1827 which was used well into the mid-1860s era. This sword was found in the attic of a home in Wilmington, NC, and could be Civil War or Confederate related. The home, located off of Market Street, was known to house Confederate Naval officers as well as foreign ship captains during the War years.
