Description
This is a FINE antebellum sword overall and one of the few remaining with original grip covering and wire. The markings are crisp and deeply struck and the blade is near fine overall. Definitely a “keeper” grade overall. It was manufactured in 1850 at the Cabotville factory. It has been in a private collection since the 1950s and has never been offered for sale for over 70 years! Museum and investor grade overall.
