Description
Very rare set of insignia fresh from an estate in South Carolina with a verbal history of belonging to a junior officer from the Charleston area. Unfortunately no documentation beyond that is available. The straps have never been sewn on and are typical of straps made in the 1850s by custom tailors. The original polished paper backing is fully intact as well.
