Description
Exceptional wartime trophy brought back by a local GI in 1945 from Berlin. This is a 100% authentic and original wool tunic of the Wehrmacht 361st Infantry Division which was active from 1943-1945. It was redesignated as a Volksgrenadier Division in 1944 which explains the “Panzer Pink” trim. It’s most active service was on the Eastern Front when the Soviets launched Operation Bagration and the unit suffered extreme losses. It then went to France where it was combined with the 559th Volksgrenadier Division on March, 1945.
