Description
Exceptional example of a combat helmet that really saw combat and 99.9% likely the German didn’t survive it. Brought back as a war trophy by an American GI, this fine old relic shows field use and wear and a clear massive impact, likely by mortar or artillery fire, that rendered the party wearing it, well, out of action.
There is a slightly visible code but it is oxidized and I don’t want to remove patina to expose it—the “look” is too good to disturb.
The infantry army decal is 100% original and in fine shape and the helmet retains its battle scarred liner and chin strap, too.
Super honest Nazi combat helmet!
