Description
There are only a very small number of these rare cast brass buckles known to exist today still on the original issue belts. The plate has a wonderful unmolested age patina overall and the belt itself is in far above average condition, but does have some old cracks and breaks which can either be repaired or displayed as-is. While many examples of DUG plates are out there, you can count on your fingers and toes the number which are non-dug and still on their original issue belts. Museum and advanced collector grade all the way and a wonderful rarity which can only enhance any collection!
