Totally fresh barn find from Pennsylvania, this is a standard US infantryman/artilleryman type arrow head attachment solder filled brass faced buckle on the original leather belt, WITH the original brass keeper. It is a bit cracked and brittle, but relatively supple overall and nicely mounted for display on an old piece of what appears to be tobacco stick wood. 100% original all the way. Appears to have had some leather treatment put on the belt many, many years ago. Excellent turn key display item for any collection, and with a wonderful overall untouched patina. This set was clearly worn and used in the field and not a surplus item, as many are.
