Description

One of only about 5,000 ever produced (1860-1861) this fine little handgun was converted to cartridge in the 1870s, making it a very potent package of firepower. It has a 4” barrel and a rolled cylinder scene decorated by a bear, eagle, dog and Indian motif. Very few of these are known to have survived and many went west with settlers after the Civil War. A very inexpensive piece of American history in very nice condition overall. I found an old descriptive tag rolled up in the barrel and it will be included.
