Description
Manufactured by Collins and Company of Hartford, Connecticut and dated 1861, this honest as-found sword bayonet fits the M1859 and M1863 Civil War Sharps percussion rifles. It is listed as Hardin #84-2 if you have that reference book (The American Bayonet). Very, very rare item and the first I have seen in several years. Will likely clean near EXC.
