Description
Beautiful and rare set of double embroidered Lieutenant rank straps for an officer in the US Quartermaster Department (also used by Regimental quartermasters). The background is dark blue felted wool with embroidered bullion “Q.D.” lettering. First set I have seen in over THIRTY years, and from the prestigious collection of Kevin Hoffman of Pennsylvania. The straps show honest use and field wear overall.
