Seldom seen cavalry carbine originally designed in Maryland.  Many of these are known to have been used by Confederate cavalry units.  This one is brown as they come, fresh from an attic in central Virginia and totally unmolested.  It has a hairline crack at the wrist that slightly bent the loading mechanism bar but that doesn’t affect the function.  Bargain priced for a scarce carbine!
