100% original and honest in all respects with a high degree of original finish. All numbers on the frame and external sub parts match and the Waffenamp stamps are crisp and clear. This fine semi- automatic 9mm Parabellum pistol was manufactured by Mauser in 1941 and coded on the frame as BYF. Examples like this are relatively scarce and this one is a direct veteran bring back, purchased locally from a family descendant. It has never been on the open market before. The only real flaw is a minor chip on the lower grip, as shown. The action is crisp and the bore is excellent. As with any antique weapon, it is NOT warranted safe to fire until fully inspected by a competent gunsmith. Many of these pistols went to submarine service officers. FFL or C&R required for transfer.
