Description
Exceptional Civil War tin canteen with pewter spout, sky blue jeans cloth cover and original cotton sling. This is a scarce variant of the standard wool covered canteen which surfaced at an estate sale in Michigan. The jeans cloth covers only appear on canteens manufactured in the Midwest, for the most part.
